Narelle Derrig
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) who provides Medicare-supported Focussed Psychological Strategies. I am also a Social Work supervisor and provide clinical supervision, including for AMHSW accreditation.
What to expect in therapy with me: I will always honour where you’re at in your journey of healing and growth, whether you’re taking the first step or you’ve tried it before. I have the upmost respect for every person who attends therapy and entrusts me with their story and their challenges.
I am caring, authentic and very human in my therapeutic approach. I utilise collective wisdom from various evidence-based models of therapy and understandings of human psychology, emotion and behaviour. I take a holistic and whole of person approach; seeing you as an individual doing the best you can in the context of what is happening and has happened in your life.
