Rhiannon Gaffney
I am a Registered Psychologist, and have been practicing since 2012. I believe in a client-centered approach, where I am committed to making people feel genuinely heard, supported and comfortable. I work predominately with adults where my aim is to make you feel understood, empowered and equipped.
Born and raised in Tamworth, and later completing my university studies in Coffs Harbour, I bring a strong understanding of regional life and the unique strengths and challenges that come with it.
Throughout my career I have worked across diverse organisations and locations, from regional services (Tamworth, Port Stephens) to busy city-based settings (Newcastle, NSW). In recent years (2019), I have moved into private practice where the focus is on thoughtful, individualised support.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my young family, getting outdoors and discovering new places to enjoy a good coffee.
