Saskia Maile
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) who provides Medicare-supported Focussed Psychological Strategies, and I am a Social Work Supervisor for clinicians completing Mental Health Accreditation.
I’ve recently moved to beautiful Gumbaynggirr Country with my partner, two cheeky kiddos and our big fluffy pooch. I’m a Mental Health Social Worker and a big believer in the power of therapy – both personally and professionally.
My work is grounded in collective wisdom, meaningful connection, and creating space for what truly matters to you. I see my role as walking alongside you – gently, with curiosity, and without judgement. Therapy can feel big and vulnerable, so humour and humanness matter to me.
I am committed to creating a warm, safe, and welcoming space where my clients can show up fully as themselves. I honour and celebrate all identities — across culture, gender, sexuality, neurodiversity, and lived experience. Your whole self is welcome here (including your babies and kids if that’s where you’re at).

Therapeutic style
My practice is shaped by each client’s unique needs and goals. I’ll support you to build greater ease, self-understanding, and meaningful change by honouring both what’s happening now and the deeper roots beneath it — where real transformation happens. Together, we gently explore long-standing patterns, challenge what’s no longer serving you, and make space for new ways of being.

I also bring a strong foundation in:

What is a quote or phrase that really resonates with you?
“When one door closes, another door opens” because life’s transitions can feel big and intense but there’s always learning on the other side.
What book have you read more than once?
I mostly read children’s books these days but I love reading ‘The Runaway Hug’ with my little girl. Their house is messy and loud and full of love – just like mine.
What makes you feel grounded?
Deep belly breaths, being in nature and play!
